Let’s begin!
How to make easy no churn sorbet
Ingredients:
Ingredients needed for sorbet:
2 large bananas (frozen)
1 cup (8oz) frozen dragon fruit (pink pitaya)
Instructions:
Add all ingredients to a high-powered blender or processor and pulse a few times, then blend on high for one minute or until smooth and well blended.
Note: I love my Ninja 3-in-1 system and use it all the time. It comes with three different attachments for all kinds of settings, even an ice cream maker setting.
What is pink pitaya dragon fruit and benefits?
Pink dragon fruit is a superfood that is now grown all over world in tropical regions, but indigenous to Central and South America.
Not only is it a strange and unusual looking fruit, but if you ever see how it grows (or Google it) you will see the plant looks pretty out-of-this-world! Dragon fruit grows on a small tree with weeping limbs that look like cacti. They actually call it a climbing cactus, or hylocereus. The taste and texture are like a happy marry of a kiwi and pear.
Benefits of pink dragon fruit:
rich in antioxidants
it’s high in fiber and fat free
high in Vitamin C to strengthen immune system
contains prebiotics and help with food digestion
help with lowering blood sugar
It can help boost iron levels, (which can be particularly helpful for women during their mensuration period.)
Enjoy!
